![]() "We will live or die by virtue of the stories we tell about ourselves, the Earth, and our true place within the web of life." -Maximilian Werner
The publisher of Crooked Creek and sponsor of this contest, Torrey House Press, seeks to add to the appreciation of the Colorado Plateau and the American West through the power of pen and story in the books they publish. Here in this contest, they hope to add the power of image. Water in the desert is always an amazing, rare and gratifying sight. They are eager to see how you portray the paradox.
Prizes:
Two winners will each receive a copy of Maximilian Werner's novel Crooked Creek. Winners will be announced on this page on Saturday, September 17th.
