Private Photographic Workshops and Tours
In and Around Capitol Reef National Park, Utah

I offer custom-tailored private workshops and tours in and around Capitol Reef National Park - one of Utah's most scenic and least visited parks. The area offers a variety of landscape like few others; from red rock canyons and sandstone formations, through narrow slot canyons, denuded badlands, and verdant riparian streams, all the way to aspen and conifer forests, alpine lakes, and incomparable views of the canyon country from 11,000ft high on the Aquarius Plateau. It is a landscape photographer's paradise.
The curriculum will be designed in collaboration with you and can range from a driving tour to hiking and camping in scenic locations. Tours are intended to get you out into the landscape for unique photo opportunities. Workshops are designed to cover a variety of material, giving you the tools to work creatively, process and present your work.
For those interested in photographic instruction, a workshop can cover both creative and technical topics, as well as field work and practice. Among the topics to choose from are:
