I love looking at other works and seeing what it is that appeals to me and how I can integrate the techniques or style into my own.

I now look at intimate landscape scenes with the "Light Impressions" view in mind. I've received a lot of accolades for these new works, which are being described as 'groundbreaking' and such. In my opinion, nothing I've done in any of these new images is something I'd consider truly 'groundbreaking'. I took a lot of inspiration from Floris pushing the boundaries here and showing us the start of what is possible with these new techniques.
