It was a pleasure to view all the entries, and I was delighted to be asked to be one of the Guest Judges. The people that entered this weeks theme provide an eclectic mix of interpretations. My goal in doing this theme was to get people to think about just light itself, to think about and see where it was, where it wasn’t, and to use that combination effectively. The winner and runners-up, and even a number of those that didn’t make the final cut did a fabulous job, and it was a privilege to consider them all.

For his winning entry, Steve will receive an original signed print, a free 1-year membership to Nature Photographer’s Network, and a $20 gift certificate from Outdoor Photo Gear.
