Tal covers topics such as the art of photography, approaches to landscape photography, the experiences of a working photographic artist, and reflections on living meaningful life as an artist in today’s world.

About the Author ()

Guy Tal is a published author and photographic artist. He resides in a remote part of Utah, in a high desert region known as the Colorado Plateau – a place that inspired him deeply for much of his life and that continues to feature in his images and writing. In his photographic work, Guy seeks to articulate a reverence for the wild. He writes about, and teaches, the values of living a creative life and finding fulfillment through one’s art.

You might want to put a link, or a similar announcement over on the section of your website where you have printed books for sale. I looked for it there first, then did a search on Amazon. I didn’t see this link until I had already ordered the book. 🙂

    P.S.
I’m looking forward to sharing your work (and ideas) with my young son. You provide an important counterpoint to the mass of popular culture.

      Thank you very much!

Keith, it’s in the works. I’m working through my busy workshop season, but will offer signed copies for sale as soon as things settle down a bit later in the year.

    Greetings,

With much anticipation, I received your book and have been unable to put it down. It’s really an excellent selection of essays that cut right to the point. I have only been an artist for 3 years now, but I’ve been slowly heading down a path that feels right for me. Your book not only assures me that I am on the right path, but also opens up new horizons.

    Many thanks,
    Brian
